Labor Lies to Avoid Scrutiny of Failures AGAIN Print E-mail

Labor is continuing its desperate practice of lies to avoid scrutiny of twelve years of failures, this time about the Liberal policy on public housing, Liberal candidate for Penrith, Tricia Hitchen said today.

“This is simply Labor’s desperate attempt to distract the public from their abysmal record of failure over the past twelve years,” Mrs Hitchen said.

“Labor doesn’t want the people of Penrith and the Lower Blue Mountains to think about the fire tanker that was transferred out of the area, leaving Penrith Fire Station with just one tanker.

“Labor doesn’t want the people of Penrith to think about their neglect of education, with only two local schools amongst the hundreds around the state to recently receive desperately needed and long overdue money for maintenance.

“Labor doesn’t want the people of Penrith and the Lower Blue Mountains to think about their neglect of the local area, which is now so bad the Labor Member has resorted to launching petitions to get her own government to pay attention to the needs of the local area.

“These are the stories the Labor Party doesn’t want the public to hear, and they are so desperate to divert attention for their failures that they will do anything, even if it means resorting to lies,” Mrs Hitchen concluded.
